The most famous case of hitchhiking
People started looking at the negatives of hitchhiking after a certain case was revealed. Like most of the teens, during the 1990s, they ran away from their house in search of adventure. Little did they know that their adventure would end in a very wrong note. The 2 teens were Ricky Lee Jones and his girlfriend Regina Kay Walters. They were hitchhiking, and in their journey, Ricky was murdered and his body was disposed of. Regina was kept alive for some time. She was raped, tortured and murdered by Robert Ben Rhoades, a famous serial killer, and a truck driver.
